Eggnog
« on: December 15, 2014, 09:15:09 AM »
Umpa how are you doing? I pray you and your family are well. I am still doing well on my low carb lifestyle. I feel so much better! I'm finally starting to get the compliments of noticeable weight loss. Usually this time of year I purchase eggnog and this year I refuse to break my lifestyle for a cup. I was wondering if you could convert or had a low carb friendly recipe for eggnog? I would love to enjoy a few cups during my winter break. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, pask94! ;)

Here's one recipe that I enjoy.
I substitute FTS Zero sweetener for the xylitol.

Here's another that Doug created using Zero. It's also VERY good;

Hi Pask94, both recipes are great the difference is I use the beaten egg whites to thicken the eggnog vs heavy cream. Happy holidays!!!

Thanks Doug and Umpa, I can't wait to try the eggnog. I love it and knowing I can have this all year round is such a treat. I just ordered my "Fat To Skinny Zero Sweetener" on Amazon.com I can't wait to receive it, the reviews praise it as being the BEST!

Thanks Tony, I'll keep that in mind for my next batch. I bought some of the liquid sugar free sweetener from Kroger and it was AWFUL!   >:( I can't wait to get my fat to skinny sweetener.

Trust me, you'll LOVE it!!! :)
I've tried every sweetener out there. And Zero is miles better than the best.
