Trout time!
« on: June 09, 2010, 11:03:39 AM »
I'm going trout fishing and camping this weekend. I'm going to teach my grandson how to rough it this weekend without any video games. Should be fun. I don't think there is anyting better than fresh trout for breakfast.

I'm with you pal, if you have any filets left over try pecan encrusted trout. Simply crush pecans and coat the egg washed filets and pan fry...delish!

I am actually a Penn girl but I do own the fishing pole you are talking about but mine is a tweety pole!my girlfriend brought it to me as a joke, but doug actually used it on a bottom fishing trip and outfished her hus band.i will tell you a secret Phil, (yes I am part bear ehehehe)the reason she brought me the tweedy pole is because that is my maiden name, Tweedy.*smiles*

Umpa,
I was just kidding about the sponge bob pole. Last time my wife and I went fishing in the ocean she caught a 36 pound salmon ::) Me on the other hand caught the smallest fish of the day. :P
