I hadn't heard the oat fiber suggestion before.  I agree about the slimy factor with flax.  I feel a netrition order coming on.

Sometimes oat fiber tends to dry things out, so it will take some experimentation - especially since these (Tyler's) have a dryness problem already. After a couple failures, I tend to lose interest. I'll try Umpa's recipe and add some oat fiber. Thanks Momma.

Hi Sarah! :)

Oat fiber is a soluble fiber.
Meaning it will absorb water (i.e. moisture).
If you've ever made Quaker oatmeal, you could watch the water vanish before your eyes.

So when using oat fiber, add it slowly and be prepared to add more liquid.
What you do today is what matters!
