I AM BACK TOO, JAN AND SHERRYPIE, I had lost 35 since January, than here came parties and vacation and wham..... done gained back several pounds..... and I cannot afford to gain any. So I am joining ya all again, you motivated me so much when we were all on here  back a few years ago :) god bless and help us all reach our goals.

Thank you Elizabeth I sure will pray for you. Today is day 6 and I am doing good on my FTS. yeah  ;D
Now to stay strong amen.  Good news, I gave my daughter the yellow book Doug first wrote and she read it and plans to start on FTS tomorrow too yeah!!!!!

We have Bob Evans in our neck of the woods, last night hubby picked up carry out for us. I choose grilled chicken with green beans and a small salad, gave my bread to my hubby, it gave me a good feeling to not cave in and order my old favorites. Hubby has heart problems and diabetes, I tried to get him to have what I was having but nope he wanted his old favorites. Just wanted to share with you all how wonderful it felt to stay on program, a big victory for me. :)

Yes Doug so true!  I have done good on FTS all week and today my morning blood sugar reading was 114. The main thing I notice when doing FTS is I don't get hungry all the time, had to make myself finally eat some breakfast today at 11.

Hi to all,
I have been having serious health issues and now my doc says I am diabetic, she did one more blood tests the a1c on that one said borderline, but I have been taking my sugar every morning and it is running high, so today I made the decision to come back to FTS. I have been such a failure, tried so many diets, loose a few pounds than put it back on. BUT I am not giving up.... I know it is possible and I refuse to give up. I loved FTS when I was on it a couple years ago, loved the forum, loved watching Doug cook on youtube, etc, and the weight was coming off till I started going back to my old carb ways. So appreciate your prayers... the journey has begun today.

This I plan to make tomorrow. Tomatoes have been high in our neck of the woods but hubby found a farmer  with a stand at his lane  got some cheap.

Well that always upsets me when I hear this stuff, it is like you just don't know what to do one says this is great another says this way is. I know I loose weight well when on this. I know sugar is death, I have seen so many loved ones with sugar and what it has done to them. Just today on my FB heart association posted a thing about sugar and how it is killing so many. So we just got to do  what we got to do to shed the pounds.
