Whats the serving size and net carb count on this one?
-
You can't eat enough in one serving to hurt your program. It's very filling due to high protein arounfd 3 carbs per 1 1/2 cups
-
Awesomely awesome! Thanks for all your help. I know you must have put a tremendous amount of effort into all this.
-
You bet..... but you and all the readers I can help are well worth it. Someone has to tell the truth, our childrens health depends on it.
-
yes Doug, thank you for the truth! our precious children and good health! My two older ones moved a coupled years ago but I have my
two youngest with me still and this is their favorite(mac and cheese) so we WILL eat right with macafoney and cheese
as we now know the truth! some things I was instinctively already doing for the past year but
Fat to Skinny reveals and lines up and ties all the loose ends! My 13 year old daughter is loving this new lifestyle eating
and is such a big help as we work together reading the labels and clean out the "poison" from our cupboards!
(she is about 5' 1" and weighs 115) And then my son....mr. Tony, he was born with down syndrome and just loves to eat
and of course i was giving him everything wrong most of his life :-[ .....i feel so guilty, he is 15, about 5' 2" or 3" and 190 lbs.
...ouch! ::)
he loved the pastas and the bread
(2 toasts every morn and also after school...that's 4...o boy plus whatever school lunch had and dinner)
and the chic nuggets with fries and pizza....well, there it is and oh and the kool aid and oj...it almost makes me ill,
we're poisoning our kids... :'( it's alllllll O U T ...out!! I am determined and the Lord is our strength!
well my point is I am so in tears for this blessing, I prayed God make a way to help me lose weight (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) and now
we all will....we have found the way because you want the truth out there just cuz you been there and you care~
Thank you and your wife Doug~ Awesome!
....so anyway, this probably was not the place to give testimony but seems appropriate under the Mac and cheese as
my whole point started out that my kiddos and I can still enjoy our favorite dish thank to you!!
MaCaFoNeY and ChEEsE~~...this is the first time in our lives we will try tofu, we found some at the store tonight and
the exact kind you recommend ! so we will have this for dinner tomorrow~ we are on our way~~
blessings and love! cyndi

Ok...when the folks on the FTS forum say something is GOOD....listen to them! I have been on FTS over a year and tonight is the first time I have made the Macaphoney & cheese. OMG!!! :o It is wonderful!!! ....and I could have been eating this all this time!
I didn't put any meat in mine, and I just seasoned it with black pepper, red pepper, and salt. Mommy likes!!! ;D
-
Oh wow...really :o This is a staple in my house simply love the recipe :)
-
Doug, it will be a staple around my house from this day forward!! :)
-
I should give it another try. I think it was a texture thing for me but my hubby liked it. Jan you crack me up!
-
Hey Amber! We didn't email all day today! ha ha
I know Doug's recipe calls for extra firm tofu, but I worried about the "texture" thing too. I used the pack of tofu that just said "firm", and I really enjoyed it. Sherripie asked me to take a picture of it to send to her on fb. I was a little embarrassed, because I had already ate TWO servings out of my 9x9 dish. ha ha (and I wonder why I plateau! :-[) The pic is in my FTS recipe album if you want to see it. I will definitely make this again! :)
-
I can't believe we didn't email! I made the baked chicken meatballs tonight but use pork. I will post picture tomorrow. They were really good.
-
I've used firm instead of extra firm, too, and it was good. Maybe it was better... I'll have to make it again with firm and see how it works.
-
Amer, the meatballs sound good! I'll watch for the picture. I am just trying to add some new things to keep it interesting. Bought the asparagus this week too! ;)
Sarah, I cut my cubes of tofu up really small too. I always "thought" tofu was gross. However, when I heard Doug comparing tofu & pasta saying that they just use soy flour in the tofu....that didn't sound gross at all. :)
-
Kids love this recipe ;)
-
When I make this recipe I spread the mix out fairly thin in the baking dish vs deep dish. This gives the tofu a chance to dry out a bit more and creates a larger crust area which I love :)
-
GOOOOD STUUUUUFF!!!.... YUMMY!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Anyone know where the written recipe for this is? I tried the search option but it didn't pull anything up ~ Thanks! Kim
