It is encouraging that sugar is being exposed as the toxin that it is.  Baby steps.

That's the baby steps part.  They are targeting sweets and that's important but the complex carbs like pasta, rice, potatoes and bread break down into sugar in the blood and are as dangerous.  Sugar farmers are enough of a challenge, I guess.  To add wheat, potato and rice farmers to the mix all at once is probably too much to ask.

People like their blinders,ignorance is bliss! The corn farmers where we live grow corn now for bio fuels and cattle.I think thats wicked cool 8)

My ex-husband's family were farmers in northern Minnesota and their crops were potatoes and sugar beets.  They still own the land but rent it out now.  We are talking about major cultural changes so even baby steps are a good thing.
