Woo Hoo!!! I'm really excited about the weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/)  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  Monday will be the start of 3 weeks for me.  My husband hasn't fared as well, but I'm going to help him get back on track!

The past week was very stressful, but I stayed the course!!!

Hooray on the weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/), Binky and Suzlyn!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You'll find that living the FTS lifestyle gets better and better all the time!

Clothes you thought you'd never wear again, suddenly fit! :)
You get unexpected complements from folks you haven't seen in a while! :)
You find you have more and more energy as time goes by! :)
And, at least in my case, you begin to feel like you're growing YOUNGER!!! :) :) :)

FTS is a God send and a miracle!!!

Thanks Tony!!  Yep you are totally correct.  This 20 pounds has expanded my wardrobe.  Clothes I had that I kept thinking one day I might wear them are still in my closet.  And now I can wear lots of them.  A few items still need that few "extra" pounds to disappear but getting closer.

And my energy level totally rocks!

I really hope so! Only lost 1 pound this week.  I am determined though  :D  I still drink my coke zero's, but I think that's slowing my progress.  Gonna have to give those up  :'(

I drink tons of water and I usually have about 4 of the 12 oz bottles of coke zero.  I actually crave the coke zero  :'(

I like coke zero too.I don't think its the coke but you could always cut it in half and see ;)

I'll try and see if that works.  I'm only eating about 4 carbs a day.  Do you think that's the problem??

Way to go Binky!  :) You are doing great! Don't obsess with the scale though ,as long as you stay under 20 you will lose weight (http://www.fattoskinny.com/).I don't think I could stay at 4 carbs per day! My coffee in the morning is 4 carbs! :)

Thanks Umpa!  I'll try not to obsess with the scale anymore.  I think I'll just have a weigh in once a week.  (I'm gonna try that is)  :-X

Hi Binky! :)

"Thanks Umpa!  I'll try not to obsess with the scale anymore.  I think I'll just have a weigh in once a week.  (I'm gonna try that is)"

I agree with Umpa... Remember that weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) is FAR more than that number in a box on the floor. ;)

Thanks, Joagain!  I honestly thought that the scale might go up this morning because I ate tons of food yesterday.  The FTS way of course, but I was happy that it went down.  Did the happy dance because I'm almost at my half way point.
YIPPEE!!

My sister borrowed my book yesterday because she is just amazed about how much weight I've lost and how fast.  I hope she gives FTS a try!

Hi Rosie! :)

Congrats on losing!!! ;D ;D ;D

FTS may be the key to get you to enjoy cooking.
Although I can cook, I did not like it anywhere near as much as I did before I started FTS.

Each time you make something new and delicious, you've done something you should be proud of.
It should make you feel good. And the more you do it, the better you should feel about it!

Also remember, kitchens (like homes) that don't get "dirty", are kitchens without anyone doing anything in them.
Where practical, I try to clean up while I'm preparing dishes. So when I'm done, it's no big deal.

Don't let something as small as a messy kitchen deter you from your journey to good health! ;)

Thanks Mouseissue, I know what you are saying, I too enjoy the cooking more when I know it is doing me 'good'.  My shepherd pie turned out great so did my cheese broccoli casserole, so that made me happy. I'm trying ;)

I don't look at cooking as a chore, I look at it as a celebration of a healthy life. When I take full control of the ingredients in my food I take full responsibility for my own healthy future  8)

I wish I did not look at cooking as as chore, I just feel 'dum' in the kitchen! Never did do much cooking or baking worked hard all my life and long hours so always went for the 'fast' quick ways.  Now I am handicap, I have to sit on a chair to cook and work in kitchen and to clean, so that makes everything harder, but the good thing is that is all I have to do, my time is my own now, so I can spend as much time cleaning and cooking and crafting that I want to. ;D ;D ;D
I have learned so much just since I been on this forum and watching Doug's cooking shows on here and on youtube. When I have time I just sit here and read the recipes and make plans to buy the stuff and cook it, try to plan ahead and know ahead of time what to make etc. all that helps, I may become a 'real cook' yet hahaha, never too old to try. haha
