Hi everyone, I am working as a forklift driver in a night shift based company. At first, I found it difficult to adjust to the job. Now it has been 2 two months since I started working here and everything was fine until last week.

Two days before, I noticed that dark bags have developed around my eyes. I guess it would be due to the sleeping routine with my job. Also, dark circles are there. So, it is killing my confidence. As my skin is very sensitive, I don't want to use any chemical products. While looking for some natural home remedies, I found a blog (http://inthebackyard.ca/10-beauty-products-hiding-in-your-garden/). In that blog, it mentions that cucumbers are good for eye puffiness.

Is it true? Has anyone tried it before? Please share your beauty tips for the same. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Mike!

I've had dark bags under my eyes for years. But then, I'm 65 so no surprise.
Have tried cucumbers before, with limited success.

Lack of sleep is one cause of eye puffiness and bags.
I can't help but wonder if your sleep cycle has been disrupted since you started your night shift job?
Not getting enough quality sleep can negatively effect our health in many ways , even disrupting weight loss.

There are other medical reasons such as hypothyroidism and/or diseases of the liver.
You might consider seeing your doctor to rule out medical issues.
