Thanks Umpa,

Full disclosure here I will be 70 at the end of the year, but lucky for me don't look it, or so I.m told. Anyway even though I don't have a goal weight in mind, as long as I get under 200 lbs I will be one happy camper!  :) Unfortunately for some reason my picture won't come across or I would show myself like everyone else.  :)

Hi, Renee! :)

I am thrilled for you! ;D
You've put your mind in the right space, and FTS is doing its work for you.

You will find your energy level leveling off at some point.
The way to increase it even more is by exercise.
Exercise makes the metabolism more efficient. That will bump up overall energy levels.
Daily brisk walks will do it.

It took about 6 months before my blood glucose levels, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. really got into good shape.
But by the time they did, I haven't been healthier since I was about 30 years old.

Remember, we spent many years damaging our bodies with carbs.
It takes time for the body to heal and recover to healthy levels.
Just stay the course, and you will see even greater results as time goes by. :)

As I now consume between 10-12 carbs daily.....certainly am not starving myself, but my question is will my body go into starvation mode and hold on to all that fat I've stored away?

Thanks Tony,

Even though for the last couple of days my blood glucose levels have been testing in the normal range 110-113, I realize this is now the path I have to travel to get my health back. It will certainly be interesting when I go for  my follow up appointment in September to see the change in my blood work.

Am still going to maintain my daily carbs at well under the 20 grams a day. It's surprising how much better you feel once you cut those carbs!  :)

Hi, Renee! :)

You will shock your doctor in September!
Mine was so surprised, he was almost beside himself. :D

After that, he was recommending FTS to his patients for years (until he retired earlier this year).

Sorry to hear your dr retired Tony.  I'm sure he deserved to but it is such a pain finding a good dr. I know they have lives of their own but so inconsiderate :) .  I had a wonderful female dr for what seemed a very short time
and then she moved on as her husband got reposted.  Then another got so popular you could never get an appointment.  Good doctors hard to find, harder to keep :(

Renee after two weeks of detox your energy level will go through the roof! You will feel great! And then sugar/sweets will taste too sweet. It will gross you out! Have you watched dougs sugar video? :)

Hi, Morgan! :)

My doctor referred me to his doctor for future care.
This Fall, when I'm due for my annual checkup, I will see him the first time.

Years ago, I had a doctor like this and he was super good!
Since doctors make the worst patients (+ they know too much), it takes a special kind of doctor to treat them.
