Another Newbie w/ questions
« on: May 03, 2014, 03:47:21 PM »
Hi Everyone.......just finished reading my new book and it was great...................one questions though....on the recipes.....I can not find the serving sizes on any of them.......................only a few says 1 or 2 ...so I don't know how to size them up. Am I missing something? I have been trying to eat low carb for several weeks now but am stuck.........I need to do this the right way and am hoping Im in the right place.............thanks

Welcome to the FTS family, Charlestonlady!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Although portion control is a vital part of the FTS lifestyle, serving size may be more or less, depending on the individual.
So take the total calories for an entire recipe, then figure the carb count for what would be a serving for you.

If you're stuck this early on, you may be eating more carbs than you think.
Carp creep is sneaky. A few unnoticed carbs here and there, and we end up stalled-out (or worse).
Condiments and dressings are the worst offenders this way.

If your not doing so already, please write down everything you eat and drink throughout the day AND how much.
Post it here, and we'll see if we can spot any problems for you;

We're looking forward to help you get healthier and reach your weight loss goal. :) :) :)
